Despite a few setbacks and inactivity from key clan mates, NNK has managed to have many great hunts in the last month. Tonight was Bison Plains followed by a quest to help Llenlleawg obtain kittens on Metz. BP run managed well with a small group, and the Metz hunt produced a good many kittens for Llen’s tally. We ended with a run through Deathroots which posed a challenge but was a profitable success. Thanks for keeping red and black in the field, you know who!
Tuesday’s hunt had a grand turnout of awesome people! With our clan core and superb healing, we had a quick and profitable run through Bison Plains. Good to see old friends Tafari and Kinon back in action as well!
The latest NNK hunt to Estuary was an eventful one. Starting in the mountains, we encountered an unusually large Shadowcat spawn. After a successful run through Beartown, the feline theme continued in Bison Plains. The outpost produced another huge spawn of cats, this time Shadowcat Huntress’.
In the end we prevailed, thanks to powerful Rangers and a few epic chain runs.

There we were, sweaty and numb. The game masters crushed our fun and made us look dumb.
Brave warriors of Neko No Kessha and friends swarmed the bison plains today and ravaged the preliminary hunting grounds. When all was calm, a sudden onslaught in excess of Fifty (50) Shadowcat Huntresses swarmed the warriors and killed most instantly. What did these brave heroes do to deserve such wrath from the Gods?!
The Gods’ intention was to crush our morale, and they failed. We instantly picked ourselves out of purgatory and decided to smash some cats to relieve our frustration. We returned to a long forgotten hunting ground – the rain forest. This time we were all “Delta Team.” The brave warriors of NNK crushed every tree top we came across, ferociously slashing every beast in the way. Much fun was had by all, thank you for keeping the NNK spirit!
Our friend, honorary member, and long-time prospective member Thalo’dil, or Dilly to us, has finally made the ranks! Dilly had been affiliated with the clan as an honorary member and regular huntmate for nearly 6 months. His dedication and desire to become NNK was impressive, and we’re all delighted he stayed with us.
Well done, Dilly, and welcome aboard! We’re glad to have you representing our pride, and look forward to your young blood leading future NNKers when us dried up veterans die!

Following Dilly’s induction ceremony, the nightly hunt proceeded to the latest Estuary mountain expansion, where we did very well, exploring deeper than any previous visit.

In response to Pure’s request for a change of scenery, NNK ventured to southern Metz to try a hunt on the Tepui. The hunt was a success, and the area was cleared without incident. We may now consider this an option for future hunting. Thanks to Talas for letting us in!
Neko No Kessha plans to repeat the Bawkmas Bonanza this year! Last year, NNK dropped 20,000 coins in town in piles of random denominations. It was a terrific free-for-all frenzy, and we’d like to spray our money over town again!
Due to many of our core clan members leaving for the holiday, we will plan to hold the event after Bawkmas, perhaps the 27th of December. The time will be 8:00 PM EST, right before our daily clan hunt. Hope to see many people present to take our coppers!

After a night of extensive hunting which covered 3 areas, our crew was preparing to exit Ash temple underground when our fearless leader was finally felled by a sneaky Seamtress. While dishing smack to Lister, the gods chimed in to support Lister and the efforts of the group for keeping him effective and upright.
