NNK Core Pushes Forward

Posted in Clan Hunts on November 7, 2013 by nekonokessha

Despite a few setbacks and inactivity from key clan mates, NNK has managed to have many great hunts in the last month. Tonight was Bison Plains followed by a quest to help Llenlleawg obtain kittens on Metz. BP run managed well with a small group, and the Metz hunt produced a good many kittens for Llen’s tally. We ended with a run through Deathroots which posed a challenge but was a profitable success. Thanks for keeping red and black in the field, you know who!

Good Showing Leads to Great Hunt

Posted in Clan Hunts on July 31, 2013 by nekonokessha

Tuesday’s hunt had a grand turnout of awesome people! With our clan core and superb healing, we had a quick and profitable run through Bison Plains. Good to see old friends Tafari and Kinon back in action as well!

Latest NNK Hunt, Stocked With Shadowcats

Posted in Clan Hunts on April 7, 2013 by nekonokessha

The latest NNK hunt to Estuary was an eventful one. Starting in the mountains, we encountered an unusually large Shadowcat spawn. After a successful run through Beartown, the feline theme continued in Bison Plains. The outpost produced another huge spawn of cats, this time Shadowcat Huntress’.

In the end we prevailed, thanks to powerful Rangers and a few epic chain runs.

Casual hunt to rain forest (Dramatic post)

There we were, sweaty and numb. The game masters crushed our fun and made us look dumb.

Brave warriors of Neko No Kessha and friends swarmed the bison plains today and ravaged the preliminary hunting grounds. When all was calm, a sudden onslaught in excess of Fifty (50) Shadowcat Huntresses swarmed the warriors and killed most instantly. What did these brave heroes do to deserve such wrath from the Gods?!

The Gods’ intention was to crush our morale, and they failed. We instantly picked ourselves out of purgatory and decided to smash some cats to relieve our frustration. We returned to a long forgotten hunting ground – the rain forest. This time we were all “Delta Team.” The brave warriors of NNK crushed every tree top we came across, ferociously slashing every beast in the way. Much fun was had by all, thank you for keeping the NNK spirit!

Protecting Lister Pays Off

Posted in Clan Hunts on October 17, 2012 by nekonokessha

After a night of extensive hunting which covered 3 areas, our crew was preparing to exit Ash temple underground when our fearless leader was finally felled by a sneaky Seamtress. While dishing smack to Lister, the gods chimed in to support Lister and the efforts of the group for keeping him effective and upright.

Shadowcat, Stag Makeover!

Posted in Clan Hunts on July 26, 2012 by nekonokessha

Following the recent update, NNK ventured to the Estuary in search of additions to the area. To our delight, and to Tabatha’s serious delight, the Shadowcat and Stag have evolved their appearances. The Shadowcat is now a charcoal color, similar to our town’s pet Coalcat. The Stag, previously resembling a Snowbuck, is now an orange-red.

Unfortunately we were only able to search a few sn’ells deep. The hunt was unsuccessful in locating a passage that had appeared last update, which was a promising lead to an extension of the area.

Pure Hero

Fun rapidly turned to tragedy during the latest NNK hunt visit to BEARTOWN! Smoky Bears are a vicious breed of bear that hook you and cook you, while you watch helplessly, unable to respond. Many of the clan’s core fell victim to a nasty spawn of Smoky’s. All but one, our hero…

PureHero was the last man standing, deep in the bear cave with no exit near. The fallen were yelling plans for the makeup hunt to follow our imminent depart. Nobody expected that a lone healer chased from the chaos into another unsafe snell could resurrect the hunt. After a few tense minutes of waiting for his fallen message, we instead saw fallen clanmates rising.

However he did it, Pure was surely the hero, and we commend him for saving the hunt!

NNK Adventure To BEARTOWN!

Posted in Clan Hunts on June 20, 2012 by nekonokessha

An impressive turnout of clannies led to an ambitious adventure to the expansion of Estuary. All went well, and the group was pleased with the profit and variety that the area had to offer.

After two previous trips to BEARTOWN with no sighting of the “boss bear”, the NNK hunt finally met the elusive albino bear, and slaughtered it. The hunt was filled with good reviews, and the area will surely be revisited the NNK clan hunt.

Clan Hunt Proud To Succeed, Despite Missing Pieces

Posted in Clan Hunts on February 20, 2012 by nekonokessha

The success of the Saturday night clan hunt was in question, without Lister, Ravenstorm or any other top level NNK fighter to lead. Unable to hire a brick, the hunt proceeded with uncertainty to Deathroots. Much to our surprise, we had underestimated the capabilities of our crew, and cleared Deathroots with relative ease.

The hunt went on to clear most of Rainforest, including the infamous “death tree” which has plagued previous hunts. After exiting at the 2nd tree, the hunt moved on to Ash to clear the mausoleum, followed by a return to Deathroots to cap off the night. All went smoothly, and the hunts were profitable for all.

Hunts like these are a true testament to Neko No Kessha’s growing strength and ability. Much credit is due to our Clan Manager’s Megan, D’Ead, and Tabatha for creating the solid core which makes these hunts possible when our Clan Leader’s aren’t able to attend. Megan has stepped up to leading hunts when required, and her contributions on and off the hunt are a tremendous asset to the clan. Neko No Kessha is very lucky to have such a dedicated team. Well played, and keep up the good work!
